About Us

The Morton Funeral Home was established by Howard D. Morton in 1932. At that time, the funeral home was also used as the home base for Mr. Morton’s ambulance service. Upon Mr. Morton’s retirement (in the late 1950s), Virgil L. Howard purchased the funeral parlor from his father-in-law, Mr. Morton. Upon Mr. Howard’s retirement on June 1, 1984, Kevin and Patricia Dusenbury purchased the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home from Virgil and Betty Howard.
