Felecia A. Potter “beloved mother and grandmother”
COUDERSPORT, Pa.---Felecia A. Potter, 79, a lifelong resident of Coudersport, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2020, in Sena Kean Manor, Smethport.
Born on Monday, September 30, 1940 in Coudersport, she was a daughter of Paul V. and Kathryn J. Bucheit Tasillo. On May 3, 1969, she married James D. Potter, who passed away on January 4, 2016.
Felecia was a graduate of Coudersport High School, Class of 1958. She was employed as an operator by the former Bell Telephone in Coudersport, then by the former Denton Hill Ski Lodge in Coudersport, later at the former Widman’s Drug Store in Coudersport and at the former Coudersport Newsstand. One of Felecia’s favorite jobs was being a daycare worker tending to young children.
Felecia was Catholic by faith. Her greatest love was her family.
Surviving are a son, Paul “PJ” (Kathy Wiltrout) Potter of Coudersport; a stepdaughter, Marlaina (Terry) Smith of Lakeland, Florida; three grandchildren, Patrick J. Potter of Lock Haven, Hunter R. Potter and Lauryn E. Potter, both of Coudersport; a niece, Lisa Mitchell; and her former daughter-in-law, Carrie Potter of Coudersport.
In addition to her parents and husband, Felecia was predeceased by a sister, Sandy Tasillo; a brother, Dominic Tasillo; and a niece, Amy Tasillo.
A private visitation for Felecia’s family will be held in the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse. Private burial services will be held in St. Eulalia Catholic Cemetery, Coudersport, on Friday, April 10, 2020. The Rev. James Campbell, pastor of St. Eulalia Catholic Church, will officiate.

Felecia’s family has entrusted her care to Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil l. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse.
