Anne Hallock-Wetzel           “beloved wife, mother and grandmother”

SHINGLEHOUSE, PA---Anne Hallock-Wetzel, 70, of Shinglehouse, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 14, 2013 in Mercy Hospital of Buffalo, Buffalo, NY.
     Born April 19, 1943 in Wellsville, NY, she was a daughter of Raymond and Alberta Dickerson Lunn.  She was married to Kenneth W. Hallock, who passed away on November 6, 1991.  On May 31, 1994 in Wilmington, NC, she married David L. “Dave” Wetzel, who survives.
     Anne was a graduate of Oswayo Valley High School in Shinglehouse.  She was employed for many years at Wagner Ace Hardware in Coudersport until her retirement.
     She attended the First Baptist Church in Shinglehouse and was a social member of the Shinglehouse American Legion Post 530.
     She loved to read and play cards on her Kindle.  Anne and Dave raised Border Collies.  She adored her dogs.  Her greatest love was her family, especially her grandchildren.  Anne was always there for everyone.
     Surviving besides her husband are four children, Tracy L. (Susie) Smith of Benson, NC, Sally A. (Jeff) Gleason of Coudersport, Kenneth W. (Deanna) Hallock, Jr., of Oswayo, and Nicole L. (Eric) Dame of Montoursville; five grandchildren, Zachary J. Good, Dustin R. (Kristy) Good, Taylor L. Graham-Hallock, Kennedy S. Hallock, and Kenneth J. “Buster” Hallock; two great-grandchildren, Makenzie Good and Mason Good; a sister, Patty Gard of Forestville, NY; and several nieces and nephews.
     In addition to her parents and first husband, Anne was predeceased by a sister Nancy Phillips.
     Friends may call on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, 118 South Union Street, Shinglehouse, PA.  Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 18, 2013 at the First Baptist Church, Shinglehouse with the Rev. Russell J. Horning, pastor, officiating.  
      Flowers are gratefully declined and will be provided by the family.  Memorials may be made to the Shinglehouse American Legion Post 530 Building Fund, PO Box 25, Shinglehouse, PA 16748.
