COSTELLO, PA---Arthur E. “Art†David, 72, a longtime resident of Costello, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2015 in Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport, after a long illness.
Born October 3, 1942 in Fort Bragg, NC, he was a son of Arthur B. and Nan H. Phillips David.
Art attended Elizabeth School District in Elizabeth, PA. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving are two brothers, Dr. Robert (Sherry) David of Brentwood, PA and James (Elaine) David of Clairton, PA; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Art was predeceased by a brother, Evan David; and a sister. Beatrice David.
In keeping with Art’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or funeral services. Burial will be in Taylor Cemetery, Bunola, PA.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse, PA.
