Betty Lou Glogouski “beloved wife, mother, and grandmother”

SHINGLEHOUSE, Pa.---Betty Lou Glogouski, 83, of Shinglehouse, passed away on her birthday, Tuesday, February 9, 2021, with her loving family by her side in the Olean General Hospital, Olean, N.Y., after a lengthy illness.

Born on Wednesday, February 9, 1938 in Abington, she was a daughter of Lincoln and Betty Rogers Longstaff. On September 7, 1957 in Philadelphia, she married Joseph Glogouski, who survives.

Betty Lou was a graduate of Mastbaum Vocational High School, Philadelphia, Class of 1955.

She enjoyed visiting the casino, reading, and watching television, especially the Buffalo Bills. She was a huge Buffalo Bills fan. Her greatest loves were her family and the family gatherings that were held for the holidays.

Surviving in addition to her husband are four children, Deborah Kelley of Coudersport, Diane (David) Conklin of West Clarksville, N.Y., Sharon (Tom) Lundy of Shinglehouse and Brian (Barbara) Glogouski, both of Shinglehouse; ten grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lincoln (Andrea) Longstaff of Pennsylvania and Michael (Cindy) Longstaff of Smethport; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Betty Lou was predeceased by a son, Gary Glogouski; a grandson, Joe Lundy; and a son-in-law, Keith Kelley.

In keeping with Betty Lou’s wishes there will be no public visitation or funeral services. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Shinglehouse.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Roswell Park Alliance Foundation, PO Box 631, Buffalo, NY 14240.

Betty Lou entrusted her care and cremation arrangements to Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse.
