Bonnie L. Lewis “cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and sister”

COUDERSPORT, Pa.---Bonnie L. Lewis, 68, longtime resident of Coudersport, passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021, in UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport, after a short illness.
Born on Thursday, March 12, 1953 in Coudersport, she was a daughter of Arthur D. “Jim” and Edith Phillips Haight. On June 25, 2005 in Coudersport, she married Rodger L. Lewis, who survives.
Bonnie graduated from Port Allegany High School.
In Phoenix, Arizona, Bonnie operated a child daycare center. In Coudersport she was employed by the former Mickey’s Restaurant.
She loved to play Bingo. Her greatest love was her family.
Surviving in addition to her husband are three sons, Paul D. (Julie) Rader of Limestone, N.Y., Shawn W. Rader of Coudersport, and Shannon M. Rader of Fayetteville; three stepdaughters, Karla A. (Timothy) Brown of Coudersport, Christina (Alfred) Bishop of Roulette, and Dalelynn Butts of Phoenix AZ; fifteen grandchildren, Katarina D. Rader, Andrew J. Rader, Shawn W. Rader Jr., Paul D. Rader III, Lenna Rader, William Rader, Kody Morgan, Kory Butts, Matthew Butts, Valerie Bishop, Kristen Sallade, Sarah Norton, Daniel Wright, Allison Deiter, Destiny Holguin; five great-grandchildren, Kroy, Kyro, Benton, Lucah, and Hallie; six sisters, Star (James) VanHorn of Coudersport, Marcia (Ed) Studer of Wellsville, N.Y., Lynn (Eric Lananger) Haight of Bolivar, N.Y., Betty Bunnell of Coudersport, Melanie (Dick) Button of Charlottesville, Virginia, and Vaudean (James) Welsh of Coudersport; a brother, David (Lisa) Haight of Bradford; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Bonnie was predeceased by a son, Andrew Rader; a stepson, Kevin Lewis; and a sister, Crystal Haight.
A celebration of life will be held on a date, time, and place to be announced.

Bonnie’s family has entrusted her care and cremation arrangements to Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse.
