Diane M. Ruback “cherished wife, mother, and grandmother”

SHINGLEHOUSE, Pa.---Diane M. Ruback, 61, of Shinglehouse, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away with her loving family and friends by her side on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, in UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport.
Born on Thursday, November 19, 1959 in Norristown, she was a daughter of Joseph and Margaret Flannagan Cantymagli. On February 21, 1986 in North Wales, she married Andrew L. Ruback, who survives.
Diane was a graduate of Bishop Kenrick High School in Norristown.
Diane enjoyed doing crafts. She enjoyed visiting with neighbors and friends while riding her power chair collecting cans and bottles for recycling, after suffering a stroke in 2012 caused by a car/deer collision.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband; a daughter, Leslie S. (Michael) Rhoads of Quakertown; a son, Joseph M. Ruback of Shinglehouse; two grandsons, Sean Rhoads and Justin Rhoads; two sisters, Sharon (George) Roberts of Harleysville and Alysane (Michael) Shinners of Green Lane; a brother, Brian (Karen) Cantymagli of Warminister; and several nieces and nephews.
Diane was predeceased by her parents.
Family and friends are invited to attend graveside funeral and burial services at 11am on Monday, August 30, 2021, in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Shinglehouse, with Pastor John Asquith of Black Creek Baptist Church, Black Creek, N.Y., officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shinglehouse Volunteer Ambulance Association, PO Box 98, Shinglehouse, PA 16748.
Diane’s family has entrusted her care to Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse.
