So sad to hear of Donetta's passing. I remember Donetta and Everett being very active at the First Baptist Church in Shinglehouse and in a young married couple's Sunday school class that my mom and dad, Joe and Bernice Sprout taught. The class worked hard in the church and always had a good time being together. I also remember once my family went to Philadelphia to the big Thanksgiving parade. It was quite an experience for this small town girl. As we watched the parade amongst a huge crowd of people, we heard our names called out... there in the crowd were Donetta and Everett! Sweet memories! My prayers are with you as you mourn the loss of a lovely woman.

Dear Everett and family,

I am so thankful that recently Donetta and I were able to talk about a mutual love of ours...my dog, Sargie. She expressed so many fond memories of him...when she would take care of him. She said, " I wonder if he would still remember me? "
Donetta was instrumental in my adding Sargie to my family as he has truly been a blessing.
My prayers are with you and yours, praying you will know our Lord's comfort and strength.
Yours in Jesus, Karen Jones

Everett and family,

I am so very sorry for your loss. Donetta was a joy to work with at Grosfillex. She had a great sense of humor and I loved her stories. I remember teasing her about reading weeks' worth of newspapers in the lunchroom. She was so incredibly proud of her daughters and so thrilled to be a grandmother. I recall how excited she was getting a Harley and the adventures she was planning with you.
With sincere sympathy,
Karen

Dear Family,
I met Donette when I moved to Shinglehouse in 1964 from Carlisle to teach at Oswayo Jr.-Sr, High School. We always had a great time together. I was very surprized when I found out that she was marrying a man from the Carlisle. I remember going to Evertte's home to see her after she and Everette married. I lost track of her until facebook came alomg. It was great to reconnect. I just happened to be talking about her when I found out she was gone. You have my deepest sympathy and I will miss seeing her on facebook and hearing about her wonderful family. She was so proud of all of you.
