Wade, Dave, and Wendy.  We are Thinking about you all at this extremely difficult time.  We were shocked and saddened to hear about the loss of such an amazing woman.  Mrs. Garland was one of my favorite teachers and mentors at OVES.  She touched so many lives.

My condolences to the Garland family. Mrs. Garland was my favorite elementary school teacher. I was lucky to have her for both 4th and 6th grade (1987-88 & 1989-90). She had high academic expectations for her students and encouraged them succeed. She was always fair, was a master at classroom management. She was truly skilled at identifying children with talent and inspiring them to achieve as much as possible. I wish I were even half the teacher she was.

I'll never forget the time that Jacqui took the time to make orange shamrocks for my door for St. Patty's Day....she was a character and a good friend! She loved her family and her faith. I will miss visiting with her at our retirement gatherings....rest in peace, Dear Jacqui!
