COUDERSPORT, PA---Lorraine M. Felhauer, 83, of Coudersport, formerly of Oswayo, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2013, in Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport after a long illness.
Born March 30, 1930 in Baltimore, Maryland, she was a daughter of Edward C. and Hazel M. Thompson Blimline. On October 25, 1950 in Baltimore, she married Richard E. Felhauer, who survives.
Mrs. Felhauer was employed at the former Potter County Home. She also was a housekeeper for families in the area. She also worked in local restaurants.
Mrs. Felhauer was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Coudersport and was a member of the former Coudersport Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed doing crafts.
Surviving besides her husband are a daughter, Kathleen M. “Kathy†Davis of Oswayo; two grandsons, Eric S. Davis and Aaron D. Davis, both of Oswayo; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Felhauer was predeceased by her parents; a grandson, Jason Allen Davis; a sister, Ella M. Shenberger; and a brother, Edward C. Blimline.
Friends may call on Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, 118 South Union Street, Shinglehouse, PA where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 with the Rev. Becky L. Edwards, pastor of the Oswayo United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Wells Cemetery, Oswayo.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shinglehouse Volunteer Fire Department, PO Box 475, Shinglehouse, PA 16748 or to the Shinglehouse Volunteer Ambulance Association, PO Box 98, Shinglehouse, PA 16748.
