Mary E. Van De Boe
SEBRING, FLORIDA----Mary E. Van De Boe, 98, of Sebring, formerly of Shinglehouse, PA, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at the Highlands Regional Medical Center, Sebring.
Mrs. Van De Boe was born June 26, 1914 in Reading, PA. On September 10, 1938, she married Carroll Van De Boe, who predeceded her in death.
She was a graduate of Temple University. She and her husband resided in Shinglehouse for many years before retiring to Florida, where she was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lake Placid.
Mrs. Van De Boe is survived by a sister, Betty Kirlin of Seneca, SC; and many dear friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Van De Boe was predeceased by a son, John Charles Van De Boe, who died at the age of 21.
There will be no public visitation. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Shinglehouse, PA.
