Patricia Ann Ayers            â€œloving wife, daughter, mother & grandmother”

SHINGLEHOUSE, PA---Patricia Ann “Pat” Ayers, 61, of Shinglehouse, PA, passed away with her loving family by her side on Friday, October 18, 2013 in Sena Kean Manor, Smethport, after a long illness.
     Born January 13, 1952 in Cuba, NY, she was a daughter of Leslie E. and Lucile M. Murray Ellsworth.  On August 2, 1969 in the Bell Run Union Church, Shinglehouse, she married James F. “Jim” Ayers, who survives.
     Pat was a graduate of Oswayo Valley High School, Shinglehouse, Class of 1969.  She was employed for a short time as a housekeeper at the Olean General Hospital in Olean, NY.
     Pat was a member of the Bell Run Union Church in Shinglehouse.  She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and cooking.  Her greatest love was her family.
     Surviving in addition to her husband are her mother of Smethport; a daughter, Tanya L. (John) Hemphill of Shinglehouse; two sons, Spencer A. Ayers, at home, and Jason W. (Rayna) Ayers of Richburg, NY; three grandchildren, Aaron J. Hemphill, Malayna M. Ayers, and Maleya R. Ayers; a brother, Gary (Jeannie) Ellsworth of Mt. Jewett; and several nieces and nephews.
     In addition to her father, Pat was predeceased by a brother, DeWayne Ellsworth.
     Friends may call from Noon to 1 p.m. on Friday, October 25, 2013 at the Bell Run Union Church, 904 Taylor Brook Road, Shinglehouse.  A memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. in the church with the Rev. Chad E. Shaffer, pastor, and the Rev. Darell Harris of Oswayo, officiating.
