OSWAYO, PA---Patricia A. “Pat†Miller, 78, of Oswayo, formerly of Levittown, passed away at home with her loving family by her side on Saturday, May 7, 2016, after a long illness.
Born January 10, 1938 in Fort Hayes, Columbus, Ohio, she was a daughter of John and Barbara Kelly Curry. On October 10, 1964 in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, she married Joseph Miller Sr. who survives.
Pat was a graduate of Stivers High School in Dayton, Ohio. She served on the Election board for Oswayo Borough.
Surviving besides her husband are three daughters, Diane F. Maiden of Oswayo, Debra K. Jewell of New Bern, NC, and Denise R. Sauer of New Bern, NC; a son, Joseph (Rhonda) Miller Jr. of Shinglehouse; ten grandchildren; and a great-grandchild to be born in January of 2017; a brother, George J. (Kathy) Curry of Paradise, California; a sister, Barbara J. Brown of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by her parents.
In keeping with Pat’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or funeral services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Pat’s family has entrusted her care to the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse, PA.
