Ralph H. Stebbins



Genesee, PA Ralph H. Stebbins, 83, of Genesee, PA passed away Friday,


February 17, 2012 in his home after a brief illness surrounded by his loving


daughter and loyal dog, Garfield.



Born on December 9, 1928 in Coudersport, PA, he was the son of Leonard and


Lorena Story Stebbins. On June 21, 1952, he married L. Joyce Yentzer, who


passed away on October 15, 1989. On July 6, 1991 in Sweden Valley, PA, he


married Patricia Yentzer, who survives.



For the majority of his life, Mr. Stebbins worked in the construction industry. He


was a lifelong resident of Genesee, PA. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening,


hunting, and fishing.



In addition to his wife, Mr. Stebbins is survived by his daughter, Shirley Snyder of


Roulette, PA; two sisters, Eileen Zapel of Dothan, Alabama and Charlene Rubar


of Oswayo, PA. He is also survived by several cousins he was very close to; Otto


(Maryl) Storey, Art (Fran) Storey, both of Sweden Valley, PA; Helen Thomas


of Anthem, Arizona; William (Rene) Storey of Brehem, Texas; Frank (Dimple)


Storey of Newnan, Georgia; several nieces and nephews; and his loyal dog,


Garfield.



In addition to his parents and first wife, Mr. Stebbins was preceded in death by two


sisters, Mary Rubar and Madelene Abdo; and his son-in-law, Thomas Snyder.



At Mr. Stebbins request, there will be no public visitation. Friends and family are


invited to attend a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at the


Sweden Valley Faith United Methodist Church with the Rev. M. Thomas Shatto,


pastor, officiating.



In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the McKean County SPCA, 80


Glenwood Ave., Bradford, PA 16701; the American Heart Association, PO Box


163549, Columbus, OH 43216-3549; or a local division of the Salvation Army.



Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral
