COUDERSPORT, PA---Robert I. Kerns, 75, of Coudersport, passed away with his loving wife at his side on Thursday, March 6, 2014 in Sweden Valley Manor, Coudersport, after a short illness.
Born June 8, 1938 in Philadelphia, he was a son of Charlie and Kathryn Putz Kerns. On October 7, 1972 he married Margaret L. “Margie†Hadley, who survives.
Robert was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a self employed professional landscaper and was also employed as a landscaper by Adelphia in Coudersport.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trapping. Robert and his wife belonged to the Judy Bolton Book Club.
Surviving besides his wife are a brother-in-law, Russell C. Hadley of Nanticoke; a sister-in-law, Joette Remenor of Benton; and several nieces and nephews.
Robert was predeceased by his parents.
There will be no public visitation or funeral services.
