Ron was a childhood friend and neighbor of mine in Ridgway who I have never forgotten. Our lives took long and different paths but my friendship and memories of Ron stayed close to my heart.
I was saddened to hear of his passing, not knowing that he had been ill.
I recall running into Ron a couple of years ago while Christmas shopping in DuBois. I'd have to say, conservatively, some 45 years had passed since we had last seen each other, but he recognized me and didn't hesitate to re-introduce himself. I was so happy to re-unite and I wish we could have stayed in contact.
You have my deepest sympathies and I know my memories of Ron will live on.
