Stuart R. “Stu” Young  

COUDERSPORT, Pa.---Stuart R. “Stu” Young, 70, of Coudersport, passed away in his home on Tuesday, October 30, 2018.

Born on May 1, 1948 in Darby, he was a son of John C. and Ellenjane Miller Young. 

Stu grew up and lived his early adult life in the Philadelphia/South Jersey area, moving to Potter County in 2006.

He was a mechanic by profession. Stu lovingly cared for his home where he resided for the past 12 years.  He loved the outdoors and loved to work with his hands.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Martha, are three children; a stepson; numerous grandchildren; and a sister.

Stu was predeceased by his parents.

There will be no public visitation or funeral services.  Stu will be cremated and his ashes laid to rest as he wished.

Stu’s family has entrusted his care and cremation to Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse.
