Dennis Lee Adams “beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend”

GRAHAM, NC---Dennis Lee Adams, 54, of Graham, NC, formerly of Genesee, Pa., passed away in his parent’s home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, March 18, 2023, after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.

Born on Tuesday, February 11, 1969 in Wellsville, N.Y., he was a son of Gordon D. and Joanne Brooks Adams.

Dennis was a professional truck driver driving from coast to coast. He loved his family and his dogs who traveled with him in his truck. He loved coming back home to visit, camp, and hang out with friends and family.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents of Genesee; four siblings, Duane G. (Carmelia “Carm”) Adams of Genesee, Howard D. Adams of North Bingham, Jerry A. Adams of Genesee, Matthew J. Adams of Graham, NC, and Barbi J. (Steven) Daniel of Liberty, NC; two nieces, Elizabeth Adams and Alexis Adams; four nephews, Jeremy (Katelyn) Adams, Michael Adams, Timothy Adams, and Justin Adams; an uncle, Robert Brooks of Shinglehouse; and several cousins. He will also be greatly missed by his close friends, Henny and Maureen Haines.

In keeping with Dennis’ wishes,, there will be no public visitation or funeral services.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Dennis’ name may be made to UPMC Cole Home Health and Hospice, 102-108 South Main Street, Coudersport, PA 16915 or to Teacher’s Pet Rescue, 19 Blackberry Lane, Coudersport, PA 16915.

Dennis’ family has entrusted his care and cremation arrangements to Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse.
