Kevin W. Knowlton “beloved son, father, brother, uncle, and friend”

BOLIVAR, NY---Kevin W. Knowlton, 38, a longtime resident of Bolivar, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Saturday, July 16, 2022.

Born on Saturday, April 7, 1984 in Oceanside, California, he was a son of Charles L. “Chuck” III and Carmella J. “Connie” Cogar Knowlton.

Kevin graduated from Bolivar-Richburg High School. He was employed at various places throughout his life.

He loved music and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. His greatest love was spending time with his family, especially with his children, his niece and two nephews.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents of Bolivar; four children Aydan J. Miller, Alhana R. Henderson, Evelynne B. Knowlton and Ariyanna A. Knowlton; a sister, Mariah D. Dailey of Shinglehouse, Pa.; a brother, Charles L. Crum of Emporium; two nephews, Christopher Crum and Alekzander Harmon; a niece, Mackenzie Knowlton; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Kevin was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Charles M. Cogar and Maxie Taylor Jones; and his paternal grandparents, Charles L. II and Virginia Knowlton, and Imogene I. Cronk.

In keeping with Kevin’s wishes, there will be no public visitation. A celebration of his life will be held on a date and place to be announced.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made for his children, c/o Mariah Dailey, 2274 Bells Run Road, Shinglehouse, PA 16748.

Kevin’s family has entrusted his care and cremation arrangements to Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse, Pa.
